Willey Denzey
Willy Denzey was born William Denzey on August 19, 1982 near Paris,
France. At the age of fifteen, Willy and four friends founded a musical
group called Prodyge Crew. A few years later the group split up, but
Willy continued as a solo artist, entering a star search competition in
2000. Although, he did not win, he gained widespread recognition and a
year later, he was invited by Sony executives to contribute to the album
of artist, DJ Maze. Soon after, he released his debut single, "Que vous
dire," which was picked up by local radio stations, and his reputation
began to grow.
Living in the Parisian suburb of Melun, the son of immigrants from Laos, Willy Denzey sold more than 300,000 copies of his first single. More hits were to follow, and then in October of 2003, he released his debut album. The sound was rhythmical, sexy, and inoffensive, appealing to a wide-ranging and youthful audience. Willy's next album, "Acte 2," has proven to be an equal success, including the hit single "Honey." Willy is now capturing the attention of critics and fans worldwide. Although many of his songs are in French, it is likely that he will continue to outpace his contemporaries. Watch for Willy Denzey's star to rise bigger and brighter with the passage of time. 15hqqh.
