Jboog, original B2K member, achieved his nickname for dancing around at
family gatherings. The J is from his first name and the "boog" is for
"boogie" and came from his grandmother. He was born Jarell Damonte
Houston on August 11, 1985. A Leo by birth, and from the hometown
of Los Angeles, Jboog has a brother and sister, Terrance and Nia. His
favorite color is red, his favorite band is Imx, and the artist who has
most inspired him, is Michael Jackson.
Jboog likes football, basketball, wrestling, and collecting sports
cards. He especially likes to try out new wrestling moves, but when it's
time for a meal, his favorites are jambalaya and gumbo. He is
considered the laid back member of the Boys of 2000, somewhat business
minded, and as a Leo, naturally level-headed, down-to-earth, and given
the opportunity would like to take charge and be in control.
