Chris Brown
Chris Brown was born Christopher Brown on May 5, 1989 (a Taurus) in
Tappahannock, Virginia. The first single by Chris Brown "Run It!",
which features Juelz Santana, was
released in the summer of 2005 (July) with a self-titled debut album
following later. Although only sixteen at the time of his single's
release, Chris is a tall, slick dancer. At six-foot one-inch, he towers
over most of the competition in his age category. Unlike the latest
flavor promo star churned out of a NYC or West Coast Producer's mill, he
is literally just a smalltown boy-next-door, who has been causing jaws
to drop when he sings, dances, and turns on the charm. His debut CD
"Young Love" is all about what it says, with the rapid dance number "Run
It" containing a clear message to the girls to communicate. From the

Influenced by Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder, Chris Brown started out as a rapper, not realizing that he could sing, until it was recognized by others who inspired him to get production representation. The boy who never got discovered in any talent show and who used to sing gospel at school first recorded when he was thirteen, after which he was shown around to talent and execs from Richmond to New York.
